Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Roast My Deck service ("Service") operated by Ground Up Ventures ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Roast My Deck allows startup founders to submit pitch decks and receive an investment analysis report. The analysis is generated using artificial intelligence and is intended for informational purposes only. It does not constitute investment advice, legal advice, or any guarantee of funding or partnership.

3. Deck Submission & Consent to Review

By submitting your pitch deck, you grant Ground Up Ventures a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to receive, store, and review a copy of your deck. Our investment team may review your submission and contact you directly if we believe your company could be a potential fit for our fund. This consent is given at the time of submission and acknowledged through the EULA agreement on the upload page.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your pitch deck and all intellectual property contained within it. Submitting your deck does not transfer any ownership rights to Ground Up Ventures. We will not distribute, publish, or share your deck with third parties without your explicit written consent.

5. Confidentiality

Ground Up Ventures will treat the contents of your pitch deck as confidential and will not publicly disclose the materials without your consent. However, please note that text extracted from your deck is processed by third-party AI services to generate the analysis. You should not include highly sensitive trade secrets or classified information in your submission.

6. Account & Access

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service. Each account is limited to one deck submission. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload malicious files or content designed to exploit the service.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit decks on behalf of others without their consent.

8. Disclaimer

The analysis reports are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Ground Up Ventures does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any analysis. The reports should be treated as a starting point, not as definitive investment guidance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ground Up Ventures and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles.
